Using Test Mode for payments

Having the Event in test mode allows you to process test registrations to check everything is working as you would like it - before going live.

This is controlled by going to Configure > Event Settings > Main Details

Set Payment Mode to Test - if it is not already.

You can see you are in Test Mode - if ever in doubt - you can see by going to the Get Started tab in MeetMax

or going to an Invoice page for a Pending Attendee - and yo will see Test Mode in the background

Each Payment Type has a preferred test Credit Card you use for payments.

1.  If MeetMax is acting as the bank and holding the funds, use

Visa, 4111 1111 1111 1111, any exp. date, and 3 digit ccv

2.  If Authorize.net is the processor, also use

Visa, 4111 1111 1111 1111, any exp. date, and 3 digit ccv

You will not directly see funds arrive in your account, but your test registrants should appear as paid once you have entered these details.

Switching from Test mode to Live mode before opening registration

You will want to process your test registrations in Test mode - so that you do not need to keep refunding transactions.

When you are ready to take registration live - remember to switch to Live mode - so the money is captured.

Go to Configure > Event Settings > Main Details

Switch Payment Mode from Test to Live.
