Where is it?
You’ll set request caps from the Configure tab:

Why is this useful?
For many events, request caps aren’t needed. Attendees will tend to request the number of meetings they want to attend, within the overall time limits of your event.
At some events, however:
- There might be presentations and activities that limit available time for meetings, so you want to keep meeting requests scoped accordingly.
- Certain participants might want to use 1x1 meetings as sales or marketing opportunities, so they might maximize their requests.
- Your event might offer a specific number of meetings to each participant.
If you need to constrain meeting requests for all participants or specific roles, the Request Cap setting can be very useful.
Setting request caps
Head to the Configure tab. Choose Meeting Settings, then Request Cap:

On the Request Caps page, enter the maximum number of requests you want each user role to make. Be sure to click Save:

| This form will reflect the user roles we’ve set up for your event. |
You can leave any role blank as well. That grants unlimited meeting requests.
Once a participant reaches their request cap, they can’t make any more requests. But they can still receive requests from others.
If you have a participant who’s misusing any MeetMax feature, you can also set individual restrictions.
