To start go to Configure > Event Settings > Enable features in MeetMax. Check Yes to integration with Cvent.
This will give you a tab for Cvent under Configure > Event Settings
1. You need to add the credentials. The account ID is your Cvent account ID that you see every time you log into Cvent.
The API username and password you will need to get from Cvent. It does not appear possible to set one up for yourself.
2. You need to add the Endpoint url and the Authentication token shown here to you Cvent site. You are using these to create webhook integration. You need to create a new integration. You may choose to call it MeetMax.
Create an Integration. Use the Endpoint and Token from MeetMax. You want to see Type as Webhooks.
Then set the Integration Points. Go to the Integration Points tab and click Add Integration Points.
Click on every one beginning Invitee or Invitee/Guest - that is easier than trying to limit it. But no others are needed.
3. Now that Cvent has what is needs - go back to the MeetMax tab for Cvent and make sure that the event you are running in MeetMax is connected to the event you are running in Cvent.
4. Now you need to map the fields that Cvent uses with those in MeetMax.
In the Form Editor, make sure to have none of them required. You are controlling for required fields in Cvent - there is no need to do it in MeetMax. and make sure there are equivalent fields for all the custom fields you have in Cvent.
Go back to Configure > Event Settings > Cvent and click Field Map
Make sure to map any Custom Fields. Click Submit. You have completed the integration.
