Where is it?
Once you’ve set up the integration, you’ll find its settings in the Configure tab:

You’ll import your Eventbrite registrants from the Attendees tab:

| You’ll need an Eventbrite Developer account to complete these steps. |
Setting up the integration
- Step 1. Head to your Eventbrite account and generate an API key.
- You’ll need these details:
- • Contact information: This information isn’t critical to the integration. Use any details you like.
- • Application URL: https://www.meetmax.com/sched/eventbrite
- • OAuth Redirect URL: https://www.meetmax.com/sched/eventbrite/callback
- Step 2. Now, head to your MeetMax account. In the Configure tab, choose Event Settings, then Enable Features:

- Step 3. In the Integrations section, choose Yes to integrate with Eventbrite:

- Step 4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save button:

- Step 5. Head to your new Eventbrite settings page:

- Step 6. In the Credentials section, paste in your API key details from Eventbrite.
- In the Event Code section, you’ll see a menu of all of your connected events. Choose the correct event.
- Click the Save button at this point:

- Step 7. MeetMax will now generate a Payload URL for you. (More on that in a moment.)
- Click the Field Map button:

- Step 8. Make sure the MeetMax fields are connected to the correct Eventbrite fields. Make any adjustments you need.
- Click Save:

Adding a webhook in Eventbrite
Now, you’ll use MeetMax’s Payload URL to set up a webhook in your Eventbrite account.
The reason you’d do this is to capture updates to your registration, like new registrants and cancellations.
- Step 1. In MeetMax, copy the Payload URL
- Step 2. Head to Eventbrite and add a new webhook.
- • Paste in the Payload URL.
- • In the Event menu, choose the connected event.
- • In the Actions list, choose attendee.updated.
- Step 3. Click Add Webhook:

Importing registrants from Eventbrite
| Before you take these steps, check your Attendee registration form in MeetMax. If it has any required fields, those same fields must be required in your Eventbrite registration form. If not, the import will fail. |
- Step 1. Head to the Attendees tab. Choose Eventbrite Import:

- Step 2. Click the Import from Eventbrite button:

- After this initial import, your Eventbrite webhook will continually check for new registrants and cancellations on the Eventbrite side. Those changes will appear in MeetMax within a few seconds.
