Setting up Find a Time
- Step 1. To enable the Find a Time feature, head to the Configure tab. Choose Meeting Settings, then General Settings:
- Step 2. On the General Settings page, scroll to the bottom. Under Enable Find a Time, choose Yes.
- This opens two more settings:
- • Calendar Slot Duration: This sets the number of increments between each hour on the calendar display. In this example, our shortest meeting duration is 15 minutes. So we’ve set the Slot duration to 15 to match.
- • Calendar Snap Duration: As you’re dragging a meeting over the calendar, it will “stick” slightly at certain points. The Snap duration setting controls where these sticking points are. It’s usually best to set the snap to the same number as your Slot duration, so we’re setting it to 15 minutes here.

What Attendees see
In this example, Deborah Exampl has logged into MeetMax, and is accepting a meeting request from Janice Examplers:
When Deborah clicks Accept, a pop-up appears. Here, she can use the drop-down menu to choose a meeting time.
But if there are a lot of available time slots for this event, it can be easier to click the Find a Time link instead:
The Find a Time page is a visual display of when this meeting can be scheduled. Both Deborah’s and Janice’s blackout times and other scheduled meetings are marked here.
The yellow areas are available times for this meeting. Deborah can choose a meeting duration, and then click and drag the bright yellow marker to the time she wants this meeting:
From this page, Deborah can also choose the meeting’s location and add a personal note to Janice if needed.
Finally, she’ll click Submit to save the meeting details.
