MeetMax Support will submit your standalone app to the Apple and Google Play app stores. Here are the details we’ll need from you.

Text items and character limits

There are some slight differences between the Apple and Google app stores. The table below shows you what our team needs for each store listing. If you have any questions at all, please reach out to Support.

Our Advice:

App Name

This is the name that appears on your participants’ phone desktop, alongside the app icon.

30 characters max

30 characters max

If your app name is one word, aim for 10 characters max.

 

If your app name is two words, aim for 12 characters max.

App Store Listing Name

This is the name that appears in the app store listing, and helps users search for your app there.

30 characters max

50 characters max

Use the same name on both stores, which requires a 30 character max.

App Full Description

This is the longer text that explains what your app is all about.

4000 characters max

Subtitle

A short summary that appears below your app name in the App Store (iOS 11 or later) and the Mac App Store (macOS Mojave or later).

App Short Description

In the Google Play store, this is the first bit of text users see in your listing.

This text also affects how easy it is to find your app by searching in that store, so think about search keywords here.

Promotional Text

This text appears above the App Full Description. It’s a useful field because it lets you add updates about any current app features without needing to re-submit your app.

Keywords make it easier for users to search for your app in the App Store. Separate your keywords with commas.
