Where is it?
Once you have the template event, you’ll use it when you create a new event:

Why is it important?
If you’re hosting multiple events in MeetMax, templates make a big difference:
- Instead of copying custom settings, forms, messages, email wrappers, and menus from old events to new, you can replicate all these elements with one click.
- Templates help your team keep events consistent. Any admin can create a new event and be sure that all its settings and customizations are correct.
- Your team will also have the flexibility to make one-time customizations in any event, but not have those appear in future new events.
- If you’re creating a new event and want to use only certain elements of the template, you can do that as well!
What’s included in a template?
A template event can include all the custom elements you see listed below. Your event might not be using all of them:
A template does not include any actual data from the event, like Attendee and Company details, file uploads, and meeting records. We store that data separately for each event.
Think of the template as a customized blank slate for new events.
Creating a template event
Reach out to our Support team to have a template created from any event.
We recommend having a template event for each type of event you host. You might have, for example:
- A template for your annual conferences
- One for your monthly regional gatherings
- Another for your quarterly retreats
As your event set-up evolves, our Support team can help you retire templates you no longer need. We’re also happy to make any new event into a template.
