SalesForce Integration Settings

This allows you to connect your MeetMax account to your Salesforce account.  This will permit two benefits:

  • A new "Salesforce validation" page can be used for registration, where attendees can put in their email address, say, and MeetMax will look up the Salesforce account and see if that person exists in Salesforce.  If they do - it will fill in the form as much as it can with Salesforce information for that contact.    If they do not exist it will post a message to that effect.   You may wish to simply end their ability to register - or you may wish to change that message to allow them to click to a blank form.
  • You can also select a Salesforce campaign to connect to your MeetMax event.  Then, as new people register, MeetMax adds the corresponding contact in Salesforce to that campaign.     So a colleague who accesses Salesforce but not MeetMax can see who has registered for the event, via the campaign membership.

There is a one-time set up process - and this requires working with a MeetMax support person - so if you wish to make this connection - contact MeetMax support.
