Two options for email delivery
If you want to upgrade from our standard email delivery, we offer two services, as shown below.
| Service | Extra Cost? | Lowers Suppression Risk? | Adds your email domain to sent emails? | How email batches send |
| Email Forward | No | Yes | No | 50 at a time |
| Premium Email | Yes | Yes | Yes | Entire batch at once |
Why use an email forward?
For events that send a high volume of email, forwarding offers a simple, no-cost way to lower your risk of emails being suppressed.
With our default email service, MeetMax sends emails from a shared account. We maintain a high sender reputation, so this solution works well for many of our clients.
A shared email account, however, does come with some risk. If one client’s emails are suppressed, that could affect other clients on the shared account.
With an email forward, you can take advantage of MeetMax’s established email authentication protocols, without any added cost or complex set-up.
How email forwarding works
- You’ll first create or designate an email address on your company’s domain. We recommend that it not be used for anything else, at least during your event.
- Our Support team will then create a free email address for you on our meetmax.com domain - something like [email protected]. We’ll forward that email address to yours.
- After that, you’d send batch emails from MeetMax as usual. Those emails appear in your participants’ inboxes with your event’s new meetmax.com email as the sender.
- If anyone replies to this email, however, the reply forwards to the email address on your own domain. Then you can communicate with the participant from there.
Getting started with email forwarding
- Step 1. Create or designate an email address on your company domain.
- Step 2. Reach out to our Support team. They’ll set up a customized email address for your event on meetmax.com. They’ll also create the forwarding rule.
- Step 3. You’ll receive a forwarding confirmation email from [email protected]. After you confirm the forward, you’re all set to start sending emails from MeetMax.
