Using Marketo Rules alongside MeetMax progress

Marketo is designed to be used alongside sophisticated Marketing pathways - and you can incorporate some of those to be used in conjunction with MeetMax integration.

Some simple examples are as follows:

For our event Program event in Marketo - the Marketo conference Program - we can create new Rules to flow from the actions prospects take.  Rules consist of defining who the rule will act on, when, and what will happen next.

Here we have created some rules within the Marketo Conference Program.

Follow on Email Rule

A simple rule would be for a follow on email.   If an Invitee in MeetMax declines the invite, the Marketo program status changes to Declined - but that change can trigger the sending of a specific email in Marketo - "Follow up to Declines" to be sent a day later.  This might say - "sorry to hear we won't be seeing you, please stay in touch"

Rule to separate Registrants to a new list.

Here, the rule states that if a Program member reaches the success level (registration, attendance in this case), copy their details into a new list table for keeping.  You may want to download this list for some purpose later, market to just those people for another event, or send special communications for this event.

..adds people to the newly created list. (in the Database section)

these sorts of rules and Smart Campaigns can make the MeetMax/Marketo integration more powerful.
