Can I restrict a participant's access to MeetMax features?

While you’re initially setting up your event, you’ll work with our Support team to add settings for all Attendees and/or Companies.

Sometimes, however, you might need to adjust permissions for one individual. For example:

  • Maybe you have one Attendee who’s sending too many email messages, and you want to turn that access off.
  • Maybe you have one Company that won’t be taking meetings at your event, so you want to disable meeting requests for them.

We’ll show how to restrict access from the Attendee List here, but you can do the same process from the Company List as well.

Step 1. Head to the Attendee List page:
Step 2. Filter the list to locate the person you need to edit. Then head to the Action menu and scroll down to choose Restrictions:
Step 3. On the Restrictions page, you can click any checkbox to turn a permission off. Click Submit to shave the changes:
Some checkboxes might be greyed out, as you see above. These permissions have already been set by our Support team and can’t be changed.

If you want to restore a permission for this person later on, repeat these steps and uncheck the same boxes.

If you need to adjust another Attendee’s permissions, use the drop down menu at the top of the page to jump to their record:
