Is a mobile app necessary?

MeetMax works great on mobile browsers. So your participants could log into our web app from their devices, and use all the features they're used to using.

If you add a native mobile app for your event, your participants gain a few main benefits:

  • You'd be able to send them push notifications during your event.
  • A mobile app keeps your participants logged into MeetMax, saving them time.
  • With a mobile app, your brand identity stays present.

What our apps do

With MeetMax’s mobile apps, your Attendees and Companies can easily access their event schedules, make and manage meeting requests, sign up for activities and presentations, and more.

The admin functions your team handles all take place in our desktop app. But with participants using a mobile app, they’ll have all the details they need without having to carry printed schedules or a laptop.

They can opt in to meeting reminder texts at their meeting times.

We offer two mobile solutions: a Container App and a Branded Standalone App. Here's a comparison:

MeetMax Container app

If you need to implement a mobile app quickly, our Container app is a great option.

The MeetMax Container app is already available on the app stores - find it by searching “MeetMax.”

When your Attendees download this app, they’ll input a unique code to access your event. From there, they’ll have access to all the same tools they use in our desktop app.

The Container app retains some MeetMax branding:

  • The app icon your Attendees will see on their phones is the MeetMax logo.
  • When they open the app, they’ll see a MeetMax splash screen.
  • Once they’re in the app, Attendees will see your logo in the top navigation bar.

Getting started with the Container app

To use this solution, you’ll need to:

  • Reach out to your MeetMax Sales rep to learn more about pricing.
  • Send our Support team a white version of your logo. Learn more about the logo specs here.
  • Think about how you’ll send your unique event code to all Companies and Attendees. They’ll need to enter it each time they log into the app. Our Support team can help you with customized email messages.

Branded Standalone app

With this white-label option, everything displays your branding - including the app store listings, the desktop icons your Attendees see, the opening splash screen, and all app pages.

Our team handles branding the app and submitting it to the app stores for you. This solution takes a bit more time to implement than our Container app.

Your Attendees will log into the app using their existing MeetMax login details. Once they’ve logged in for the first time, they’ll stay logged in.

Getting started with the Standalone app

To use this solution, you’ll need to:

  • Reach out to your MeetMax Sales rep to learn more about pricing.
  • Sign up for an Apple Developer account. This is Apple’s requirement so that we can list your app on their App Store. Learn more about this process here.
  • Send our Support team several graphics, which appear in-app and on app store listings. Learn more about graphics here.
  • Think about how you’ll promote your app to your Attendees. They’ll need to know how to get to your app store listings, and login once they’ve downloaded the app. Our Support team can help you with customized email messages.
