Where is it?
Once you’ve connected the integration, you’ll see a new Salesforce Lookup option in the Companies tab:
To import Company Contacts and Company Reps, you’ll start from the Company List:
How MeetMax associates Company records
MeetMax accesses Account records in Salesforce. Once imported to MeetMax, they’re known as Company records.
The Salesforce Contacts you’ve associated with an Account record can become either (or both) of these user roles in MeetMax:
- Company Contact: An Admin role for an organization's MeetMax account
- Company Rep: An affiliated role that participates in 1x1 meetings for the organization
Company Contact and Company Rep records are associated with their parent Company record in MeetMax, similarly to how you’d associate records in Salesforce.
Importing a Company from Salesforce
You’ll first import the Account’s record to create a Company record in MeetMax. Then you’ll import the associated personnel.
- Step 1. Head to the Companies tab. Choose Salesforce Lookup:
- Step 2. Next, you’ll search your Salesforce database for the Account you need to import. Choose a search option from the menu:
- Step 3. We’ll search for a Company Name here. MeetMax will find the likeliest matching Account records in Salesforce:
- Step 4. Click the Import button:
- Step 5. You’ll now see a pop-up with your Company registration form. MeetMax has populated it with data from Salesforce.
- You can make any edits you need. If your form has any required fields (like the Username field below), be sure to add data to those.
- Click Submit to save the new registration:
- Step 6. You can now use the submenu to head to the Company List. You’ll see the new registrant there:

- Step 1. Head to the Company List page:
- Step 2. Filter the list to locate the Company you’ve imported. Then use the Action menu to choose Contact:
- Step 3. On the Contact page, you’ll see that the Company Contacts fields are empty. Click the Import from Salesforce link:
- Step 4. You’ll see a pop-up, displaying all of the Contacts that are associated with this Account in Salesforce. Click the checkbox for the person you’d like to designate as the main Company Contact for MeetMax.
- Click Submit:
-
You can click more than one checkbox to designate multiple Company Contacts if you like. - Step 5. Now that the Company Contact is imported, click Save:
- The new Company Contact will get an email notification from MeetMax with their login information.
Importing Company Reps
In MeetMax, Company Reps are registered attendees who participate in 1x1 meetings on behalf of their Company.

You might notice that the person we just designated as Company Contact is listed here. You can make anyone both a Company Contact and a Company Rep. It depends on how many people need admin access to the Company’s MeetMax account. - Step 5. You’ll now see the registration form for this person. You can make any edits you like. If you have any Required fields (like the Username field below), make sure they have data in them. Then click Submit:

- If you’d like to import more Company Reps, repeat these steps.
