How do I create a private Activity, and assign Attendees to it?

You might have certain Activities at your event where you don’t want them listed publicly, and you want to sign specific Attendees up. A hosted dinner is one example.

We’re assuming here that you’ve already enabled Activities for your event, and that you’ve added an Activity in Meet Max.

Make sure this Activity is set as Private:

  Once an Activity is set as Private, it won’t be visible in any Attendee or Company account.
  If your event has some public and some private Activities, you can proceed to the steps below. If your event will have all private activities, you’ll also want to hide the Activities tab in Attendee and Company accounts.
Step 1. Since the Attendee can’t see this private Activity in their account, you’ll use your Admin account to sign them up. Head to the Attendee List page to get started:

Step 2. Filter the list to locate an Attendee you need to sign up. Then use the Action menu to choose Activities:

Step 3. You'll see your event's Activity schedule. Click the Register button for the private activity:

Step 4. The Attendee can now see this Activity in their event schedule. They’ll log into MeetMax and choose the Your Schedule tab:
