How do I allow multiple choices in a form field?

You can add a multiple-choice field to any of your MeetMax forms. By default, they support only one selection, but you can change that to support more than one.

Radio fields vs. Drop down fields

If you’re using a Radio field in your form, keep in mind that you can display as many options as you like, but the field only accepts one choice.

To offer multiple selections, you’ll want to use a Drop down field type. You can change a field’s type at any time:

Allowing multiple selections

Step 1. Head to the Configure tab. Choose Form Layout, then choose the type of form you need to edit:
We’re showing the Attendee form here, but all MeetMax forms work the same way.
Step 2. Either create a new Drop down field, or edit an existing one:
Step 3. Whether you’re creating or editing the field, you’ll see the pop-up below.
Click the Allow multiple selection checkbox.
That reveals a new setting: Display options as checkbox list. We’ll click that in this example:
Step 4. Click Submit to save. Then click Save to process the change to the form.
Step 5. Once you’ve saved the form, you can preview your field. Click on View Sample:
With the checkbox list enabled, your participants will see this:
If you didn’t enable the checkbox list, your participants would make their selections from a drop down menu instead:
