We’ll show the Admin view of an Attendee schedule here. Remember, you can also preview what the Attendee sees in their account.
In MeetMax, the term "Target" refers to the person who receives a meeting request. |
When to use this setting
This setting is handy if:
- Your event has group meetings, where people from different companies will be attending.
- You want to make it clear which Company an Attendee is meeting with, by separating the Company’s name from participants’ names.
How it works
By default, the Attendee meeting schedule displays all participants in one list, like the example below.
The Company is listed at the top, followed by their Company Reps, and then all Attendees scheduled for the meeting:
Changing the setting
- Step 1. Head to the Attendee List:
- Step 2. You can use any Attendee’s record. Changes you save there will apply to all Attendees.
- Use the Action menu to choose Your Schedule:
- Step 3. Click the Settings button:
- Step 4. In the Attendee Settings pop-up, click the checkbox for Separate main target.
- Then click Save as Default:
MeetMax adds a new Meeting column to the schedule, where the name of the Company and its Reps are listed. All other participants are listed in the Meeting With column:
The Meeting With column can include Colleagues from the same company, or Attendees from other companies.
In the example below, David Sampell is the only Attendee meeting with Bank of New Mexico. So the Meeting With column will be blank:
Combined Schedule display
If you’re using the Combined Schedule format for your event, you can still use this setting. For that layout, the Separate main target setting places the Company name appears above the list of participants:
This setting works on Company schedules as well. You’d use these same steps, starting from the Company List.
You can use this setting in Moderated meeting programs.. |
