Schedule Setting: Consolidate my tied Colleagues

We’ll show the Admin view of a Company schedule here. Remember, you can also preview what the Company sees in their account.

When to use this setting

This setting is handy if:

  • Most Companies at your event have multiple Company Reps.
  • These Reps are automatically assigned to all of the meetings for their Company.
  • Your event has a packed schedule of meetings, presentations, and activities, and you want to keep it as compact as possible.

How it works

When you have multiple Reps included in every meeting, a Company’s meeting schedule can become a bit cluttered.

In this example, Bank of Colorado plans to have its four Company Reps attend every meeting. So listing those reps on this schedule becomes repetitive:

If Bank of Colorado had different Company Reps assigned to each of their meetings, it would be more helpful to have those names appear here.

Changing the setting

Step 1. Head to the Company List:
Step 2. You can use any Company’s record. Changes you save there will apply to all Companies.
Use the Action menu to choose Your Schedule:
Step 3. Click the Settings button:
Step 4. In the Company Settings pop-up, click the checkbox for Consolidate my ‘tied’ Colleagues.
Then click Save as Default:

Now, the Company schedule is more streamlined. The Company can clearly see the Attendees they’ll be meeting with:

If any of these meetings are with multiple colleagues from the same company, those colleague names will still appear on the schedule. For example, see the first meeting on the schedule above.

This setting works on Attendee schedules as well. You’d use these same steps, starting from the Attendee List.
You can use it in Moderated and Unmoderated meeting programs.
