With MeetMax, you can track why participants cancel meetings, and use that data to improve future events. You set the criteria you want to track.

Customizing the cancellation reasons

By default, MeetMax displays a choice of two reasons for canceling a meeting:

  • No Availability
  • Change of Plan

You might want to add reasons that help you better understand your participants’ motivations. You can set as many cancellation reasons as you need.

Step 1. Head to the Configure tab. Choose Form Layout, then Misc Fields:
Step 2. From there, click the Cancel request reasons link:
Step 3. You’ll now see the settings for a Drop down form field. You can change the two existing choices, and add your own.
For each reason, you’ll add a Value (internal, no spaces) and a Label (public):
If you want to add a lot of reasons, you can also click the CSV Options link and follow the prompts.
Step 4. Click Submit to save.

What participants see

Once you’ve set up the cancellation reasons, MeetMax displays them to everyone who has access to cancel meetings at your event.
