If you’re offering Table Talks at your event, you might not want all of your Attendees to be able to propose them.
In MeetMax, you can organize Attendees into groups. Then you can give specific groups access to Table Talk proposals.
Grouping Attendees
First, you’ll need to go to the Admin version of your Attendee Registration form. There, you’ll add the Group Name field.
This field lets you control who can access a particular MeetMax feature. Learn how to add the Group Name field here.
You’ll set this field up something like this - with an access group and a restricted group:
Assigning Attendees to groups
Next, you’ll use your Admin account to update each Attendee’s registration details. Learn how to do this here.
You’ll designate who has access to propose Table Talks, and who doesn’t:
Updating Attendee web page menus
Now that you have your Attendees assigned to these groups, you’ll use the Menu Editor to set up access. Learn how to use the Menu Editor here.
Right-click on Table Talks Proposals, and you’ll see your groups in the settings.
In this example, we’ll Hide this option for the Restricted group. Then we’ll repeat the process for My Proposals:
Be sure to scroll down and click the Save button!
We’ve left the Table Talks menu item unrestricted here. That way, every Attendee can still sign up to attend Table Talks. Only members of our Available group, however, will see the option to propose talks. |
