Where is it?
You’ll customize your event's Profile form in the Form Editor.
Head to the Configure tab, and choose Form Layout. Then choose Profile, then Edit Form:
When Companies and Attendees log into MeetMax, they'll see the Profile tab and icon:
This page will be branded for your event, and contain the menu options you’ve enabled. |
Why are profiles important?
Profiles do a number of helpful jobs in your event.
- Attendee and Company profiles help create better 1x1 meetings. When an Attendee logs into MeetMax, they’ll see details about each Company they can meet with. Companies can also access Attendee profiles. These details help everyone, including event Admins, understand which meeting requests to prioritize.
- You can also display presenter profiles with your event’s presentations.
- If you add any custom pages with custom lists to your MeetMax event website, you can also display profiles there.
If you’ve enabled profiles for your event, MeetMax will prompt all participants to complete their profile. This isn’t a required step for participants, however. |
Customizing the profile form
The default Profile form is fairly minimal. You can add more fields depending on the needs of your event.
The Attendee and Company profiles use the same form. Any changes you make for Attendees will also be usable by Companies, and vice versa. | |
You can also configure any form field to display only for specific user types. Learn more about that here. |
In the Form Editor, you can create any custom fields you need. From there, you can add them to the default Profile form:
Headshots and logos
One custom field we recommend creating is for logos and/or headshots. Learn more about logos and headshots here.
Optional details for profiles
MeetMax offers a few optional profile elements. Here’s how to enable these - they’ll apply to both Company and Attendee profiles.
Head to the Configure tab. Then choose Event Settings, and then Enable Features:
From there, scroll to the Profile section. See below for the changes you can make there.
Once you’ve made changes, be sure to scroll down and click Save!
Profile keywords
As an option, you can allow participants to add keywords to their profiles:
This is handy if your participants represent many different disciplines, and you want to make it easy for people to search for specific kinds of profiles:
Product Gallery
If your participants want to share product details, you can enable a profile option for that:
Companies and Attendees will see the option to upload product images and videos, along with description text. Then their product offerings will display on the Profile pages:
If you have more complex needs for matching buyers and sellers, check out our Custom Records feature. |
Press releases
With this option enabled, your participants can upload PDF news releases to their profiles:
What Attendees see
When an Attendee logs into MeetMax, their account page will have a Meeting Requests tab. Here, they’ll be able to see all companies that have set their meeting availability and completed a profile:
The attendee can click on any profile tile to see more details:
By default, Company Reps have no individual profile pages. They’re represented by the Company profile page. If you'd like to have Company Rep profiles enabled for your event, reach out to our Support team. |
What Companies see
When a Company admin logs into the Company account, in the Meeting Requests tab they’ll see all their pending meeting requests.
Any Attendees who’ve completed their profiles will have those details available on this page:
The Company admin can click the Attendee’s name to see their profile details:
What Company Reps see
Once the Company admin has approved the meeting request, it appears on the assigned Company Rep’s page, in the Your Schedule tab:
The Company Rep can click the Profiles button from this page and see the Attendee’s profile details.
