Where is it?
You’ll access the schedule settings from the Attendee List or Company List pages:
From either list, choose any participant's record - changes you make here will save for all participants.
Head to the Action menu and choose Your Schedule:
We'll show the Attendee schedule here, but customizing a Company schedule works exactly the same way. Learn more about working with the Attendee List and Company List. |
Why customize the schedules?
The default schedule settings will display everything a participant has committed to - 1x1 meetings, presentations, activities, hotel and transportation, and so on. But different events require different schedule formats:
- For some events, you might want to show your participants a very detailed schedule.
- For other events, you might prefer a more minimal schedule.
- Maybe you want Companies to see a different schedule format than Attendees.
- You might even want to hide parts of the schedule before the event starts, and reveal them on the first day.
As an event admin, you can update the schedule display at any time. Your changes will apply to the participant's account page, any schedules they print, and any exports they make to their personal calendars.
See the sections below for more details on the available settings.
Accessing the schedule customization settings
Once you’re in the Attendee (or Company) List, go to any record. Use the Action menu and choose Your Schedule:
You’ll now see this participant’s event schedule, here in your MeetMax Admin account.
The Settings button takes you to the customization options:
You can also make customizations for your own admin version of the schedule. Learn more about this here. |
Meetings details
Most of the schedule customizations have to do with adding or removing the details of 1x1 meetings. Depending on the needs of your event, you’ll want to show your Attendees and Companies only the information that’s relevant to their meeting experience:
You can preview any change you make by clicking the View button. |
Event days
By default, Attendee and Company schedules include all days of your event. If you want the schedule to reflect only certain days, you can check those boxes:
Hiding sections
With these settings, you can add and remove details of your event.
By default, if a section is enabled but there’s no information for it, that section won’t display on anyone’s schedule. Once there are some details available, the section will appear.
What you show or hide here depends on your event's programming, and what information your participants need to see on their schedules.
Click the check box for anything you want to hide:
Click the Save As Default button, and these settings will save for all participants.
Remember, if you want to customize schedules for both Attendees and Companies, you'll need to update the settings in both the Attendee List and Company List. |
